William H. (Bill) Hairston, IV, CLU

Client Account Analyst

Bill has been with Cornerstone since August 2012, coming to us after nearly six years in the Life Settlement industry. Beginning in contract creation, he eventually moved his way into document review—an experience which included reviewing closed contracts, family and business trusts, corporate bylaws and operating agreements, partnership documents, and buy-sell agreements.

His astute organizational skills, appetite for learning, and ability to connect with people have inspired us to put him in charge of managing the insurance accounts of many of our clients. This includes responsibilities like completing insurance performance reviews, providing clients with annual economic benefit and loan interest amounts under split-dollar and loan agreements,  processing death claims, running and reviewing illustrations, and discussing in detail any questions our clients may have in regards to their insurance portfolios. He appreciates the opportunity to educate our clients when given the opportunity because he believes that strong relationships are built on trust and knowledge.

Bill has over 10 years of experience in the financial services industry. He is a graduate of Bucknell University. He received his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designation through the American College of Financial Services. He holds a Pennsylvania Life, Accident, and Health license as well as FINRA Series 6 & 63 securities licenses. He is currently enrolled in The American College and is working toward his Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designations.

In his free time, Bill enjoys traveling, exploring local restaurants, watching and playing sports, and seeking out live music. Bill is an annual participant in the Blue Cross Broad Street Run, a 10-mile run in Philadelphia to raise funds for the fight against cancer. He currently resides in Bethlehem, PA with his wife, Lisa, his son, Liam, and his cat, Rocco.
